The Atlantic City Senior Services Division’s mission is to help our seniors in Atlantic City stay informed, safe, happy, healthy and active through a variety of educational, recreational and social programs aimed to assist them in all aspects of their daily lives.

Our seniors are our most precious jewels. The Atlantic City Senior Services Division’s mission is to help our seniors in Atlantic City stay informed, safe, happy, healthy and active through a variety of educational, recreational and social programs aimed to assist them in all aspects of their daily lives. Weekly programs include arts, photography and computer classes, as well as health and fitness seminars. Seniors also get to partake in monthly game nights and other recurring activities, plus special trips.

Our objective is to promote, support and encourage informed choices that enhance the quality of life, improve the level of care and protect and preserve all elderly persons who reside in the City of Atlantic City. Our goals are to actively listen to the wants and needs of our seniors and gain citywide access to all senior living facilities.

We achieve these objectives and goals by offering services and referrals and by implementing programs and activities that are beneficial to our seniors.

Atlantic City Spreads Holiday Cheer with Food Box Giveaway and Senior Hot Meal Deliveries

In the true spirit of the holiday season, the Atlantic City Senior Services Division, in partnership with the City’s CDBG Office, hosted its second annual Food Box Giveaway. This event provided 500 pre-registered residents with turkeys, hams, and all the festive trimmings for a holiday feast. Additionally, the Senior Services Division, with support from the city’s homeless outreach team, delivered 500 hot meals to senior living facilities, generously donated by Kelsey’s Atlantic City. This initiative highlights the city's commitment to supporting residents and fostering a sense of community care during the holidays.
