Celebrating Black History Month: Seniors Create Beautiful Artwork at ACT Event

In honor of Black History Month, we had the joy of participating in another Atlantic City Senior Services event, where our seniors came together to celebrate history through creativity. Today, we joined the seniors at ACT for a wonderful afternoon of making beautiful artwork that reflects the richness of Black history and culture.

The event was a fantastic opportunity for seniors to express their creativity while learning more about the contributions and achievements of Black individuals throughout history. With each brushstroke and color choice, participants crafted pieces that highlighted their personal connections to the themes of the month, bringing a unique perspective to the celebration.

As the room filled with laughter, stories, and the joy of artistic expression, we saw how powerful art can be in bringing people together and honoring cultural heritage. The seniors showcased incredible talent, and it was truly inspiring to witness their work come to life.
