For the second consecutive year, the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School Complex cheerleaders claimed the championship title with a flawless performance that left spectators in awe. The team also secured a joint first-place victory in the highly anticipated Walk Out competition alongside New York Avenue School, while Pennsylvania Avenue School earned second place in the category.

Assistant Coach Crystal Johnson reflected on how the experience strengthened the team’s bonds, helping veteran cheerleaders integrate and mentor new members.
