Throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the City of Atlantic City has been dedicated to promoting health and wellness. By providing resources and care packages at food distributions and community events, we’ve emphasized the importance of early detection and preventive care.
On October 22nd, we hosted a Health Fair at the New York Avenue Apartments, tailored for our senior residents. This event featured free blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, as well as educational presentations, thanks to the incredible support of AtlantiCare and the South Jersey Family Medical Association.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of these initiatives. Together, we’re creating a stronger, healthier community for all.
