In honor of Black History Month, we are embracing the power of storytelling to inspire, educate, and connect with the next generation. At the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City, young minds are engaging with stories that highlight the rich history, vibrant culture, and unwavering resilience of the Black community.
Through carefully selected books and thoughtful discussions, we’re creating a space where children can explore important moments in history, discover influential figures, and reflect on the values of perseverance, courage, and unity. Storytelling serves not only as a tool for education but also as a bridge to understanding and empathy.
This initiative isn’t just about reading stories—it’s about sparking curiosity, encouraging dialogue, and empowering young people to honor the past while envisioning a brighter future. By celebrating Black History Month in this meaningful way, we’re helping to cultivate respect, pride, and a deeper sense of community.
