Atlantic City Anti-Violence Division’s Job Fair Supports Over 600 Job Seekers

The Atlantic City Anti-Violence Division’s Job Fair, held on March 11, 2025, at the All Wars Memorial Building, successfully connected over 600 individuals with 40 local companies. Job seekers, aged 18 and older, engaged in on-the-spot interviews with employers, including Atlantic City casinos, local dining establishments, and area businesses. Some participants received immediate job offers, while many others secured follow-up interviews, creating valuable opportunities for employment.

In addition to employer connections, attendees participated in resume and interview workshops led by the City of Atlantic City’s Human Resources Department. These workshops aimed to equip job seekers with essential career development skills, enhancing their chances of long-term success.

The event was made possible through partnerships with the Atlantic County Probation Department, Atlantic/Cape May Superior Court System, and Volunteers of America. The Anti-Violence Division designed the job fair to reduce violence by promoting economic empowerment and creating opportunities — a vital step in supporting Atlantic City residents in achieving a brighter future.

One Neighborhood Evolution, the driving force behind the division, remains committed to uplifting the community, particularly its youth. Earlier this month, the organization provided a group of Atlantic City children the chance to attend the Lamont Roach vs. Gervonta “Tank” Davis boxing match at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, broadening their horizons through unique experiences.

Looking ahead, the Anti-Violence Division plans to host a Lift Warrant event on April 9th, offering individuals with outstanding court matters in Atlantic City Joint and Atlantic County Central Municipal Courts the chance to resolve legal issues by meeting with a judge — continuing their mission to empower and support the community.
